If you believe a paid rental should be tax-exempt, contact BorrowHive support before confirming it. Support must approve the request before checkout.

We'll explain what information is needed and how to provide it safely. Do not email tax IDs or exemption documents unless support gives you another way to send them safely.
Do not change the pickup location, item description, price, or payment method to avoid tax. Approval for one request does not automatically apply to another request.
